Sixty years ago today, on January 8, 1956, Jim Elliot and four of his friends are killed by a tribe of Auca Indians in Ecuador. I encourage you to read Shadow of the Almighty by Elisabeth Elliot and watch the movie called End of the Spear. Two great ways to examine a life well spent and keep your focus on what’s important in 2016.
