Radio-Companionship

Here’s a powerful quote by Eric Norberg from his 1996  book Radio Programming that still rings true today: “What you seek to influence with radio programming is audience behavior, and for that you must provide an emotionally satisfying companionship service–a soundtrack for the listener’s life–that logical liners can reinforce” (page 14). Does your station treat the listener like a friend? A genuine relationship with your listeners is a formula for success!
